My 25 Magnificent Scene in Hokkaido, Japan. (Part 5)

21)  ふきだし公園【京極町】Fukidashi Koen [Kyogoku-cho].

Spring from Mount Yotei.
Aside from snow and onsens (hot springs), another one regular blessings that the Niseko zone has been honored with, is the wealth of mineral drinking water springs.
The numerous meters of snow that cover the inclines of Mount Youtei each winter don't melt all away with the warm spring weather, a substantial part of it is drenched up by the mountain itself, percolating and filtering through the stone before blasting out of its base approximately 50 to 100 years in the wake of falling as precipitation.

You can take the free water from here.
Fukidashi Park is situated at the foot of the eastern side of Mt Yotei, which is otherwise called 'Ezo-Fuji' and is in Kyogoku Town. The spring gushes around 80,000 tons of water for each day. This spring water ('Yotei no Fukidashi Yusui') is well known all through Japan. The measure of spring water delivered in this location is the biggest sum of this single area on Mt Yotei. This spring water has been on the 'Japan's 100 Best Spring Water' list since 1985, and from that point forward, numerous individuals visit this park to get the crisp water for free.

You can take how much ever you want,
the water is free.
Kyogoku Onsen with its reviving citrus scented water is an extraordinary spot to unwind arms and shoulders tired from lugging tanks of water is one, and the other is the fabulous Zaru soba shop that uses the crisp waters to make some extremely heavenly noodles. Toss in the gigantic kids' play territory and you have an extraordinary place for families to relax (and rehydrate).

If you have a chance to visit here, don't forget to try one of the Hokkaido soul food in this very region, the Yotei Croquette meal is a fantastic teishoku and it is only available in Mount Yotei.

Darkness slowly spreads across the face of the city, and you can witness the progressive illumination of city lights. The best seasons for night viewing are fall and winter, when the illuminated glow of the city is even more beautiful in the cold, clear air.

Other than the night view, you can also Experience the Changing Appeal of the Different Seasons. Highlights of the night view from Mt. Hakodate change with the seasons. In the autumn, the days are often fine and the air clear, offering visitors a sweeping panoramic view. In the winter, the glow of the city lights is reflected off the whiter-than-white snow that envelops the city, enhancing the dazzling night view. On foggy summer nights, the mountain looks down on a mysteriously veiled panorama.
