Onigirazu with fried chicken

On the off chance that you know or have known about Onigirazu (おにぎらず) – a kind of Japanese rice ball, then you're truly present with the most recent of Japanese nourishment patterns!

Onigirazu actually appeared and become famous in Japan a year ago (2015), and today I'm making Onigirazu fried chicken, if you try this recipe, you can use any leftover food from your previous party or home cooked meal as the condiment, add some sauce and seasoning, then the left over food will transform into something new.

Onigiri is an incredible healthy decision for lunch or nibble. It is made of the rice framed into the customary triangle, round, or chamber shape with hands. Generally, the rice ball is loaded with cured plum (umeboshi), soy sauce seasoned bonito flakes (okaka), or different sorts of fillings, and after that wrapped with Dried seaweed.

Onigirazu is the negative form of Onigiri. Onigiri means grip (Shape), so the Onigirazu mean the opposite, not in grip (unshape).

This is a simple 5 minutes recipe if you use any leftover food from your fridge.

Ingredients for 2 Onigirazu

Cook time : 5 minutes

2 pieces Yaki Sushi Nori / Dried Seaweed
200 grams Cooked rice
2 pieces lettuce leaf
100 grams fried chicken/ overnight fried chicken
2tablespoons
1/2 teaspoon Roasted sesame

Method:

1) Quarter the fried chicken, if you have any left over from your yesterday dinner table, or you can use the commercial popcorn chicken.

2) Toss the bite size fried chicken with the yakiniku sauce and roasted sesame.

3) Arrange a piece of Seaweed on the Cling film, lie 50  grams of rice on the seaweed.

4) spread the rice flat on the seaweed, then arrange a piece of lettuce on the rice then the 100 grams fried chicken.

5) Finally, another layer of rice on the fried chicken.

6) Fold the dried seaweed to wrap the filling, into a square shape.

7) Slice into half either in a triangle shape or in a rectangular shape.

Why Making Onigirazu

1) It is simple.
2) Without mess, easy to arrange.
3) More filling and more flavor.
4) You can stuff with whatever you like, such as ham, cheese, bacon, salad, fruit, and Whole Fried Egg!!!
